What is the Outreach Team?
Ephesians 2:10 states "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them." OMS Outreach is a service ministry that works to cultivate a love for the Lord and others in our students. In 2015, OMS created an outreach team whereby students would receive mentorship, biblical instruction, and be engaged in community service. Our goal was to broaden their understanding of service and take the gospel to our community. We happy to report that this vision is coming to pass!

Divisions
OMS has expanded to include 2 Outreach Ministries:
*Living Water (ages 9-13)
For the 2026–2027 season, the Living Water Outreach Team will focus on serving others in our local community.
We want our students to understand that following Christ means serving others with humility, compassion, and love. All OMS students and families are invited to participate in service opportunities throughout the season.
Past events have included nursing home visits, prayer walks, food drives, gardening projects, community outreach, and more.
Together, we will teach our children that their gifts, time, and talents can be used to bless others and reflect Christ in our community.
*Deeper (ages 14-19)
Every year we ask our students to prayerfully consider their participation and to audition. The outreach team is for those that are serious about learning, growing and serving.
